Interested in Health and Tobacco Control?
Health Canada, in partnership with the Students Commission, has been running a Youth Action Committee for several years as part of the Federal Tobacco Control Program, and will be introducing a Young Adult Advisory Committee this year. We are in the process of recruiting youth for both committees. Youth who participate will be responsible for running tobacco control projects in their communities as well advising Health Canada on a range of topics.
We are looking for youth ages 14-24 from across Canada with a broad range of experiences, who are interested in tobacco control initiatives. For more information, or to apply please visit www.tgmag.ca.
This is a great opportunity for YDM members to use their skills to help influence policy at the federal level. It's also a great way to gain some skills that look great on a resume! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Eric Paterson at ericp@tgmag.ca
